The upgrade procedure is still being developed.
Typically the upgrade process follows 4-6 weeks after the initial release.

So you've downloaded Easy8, now what?
The first thing is to make sure you are logged into BEACON. You can use your Bright Customer Portal login to login to BEACON - just click on the "Login Now" button, if you haven't already.
Once Logged in you will see a variety of navigation topics on the left-hand side of the screen. You can navigate your away around the community, or just type into the search bar what you are interested in. Topics and coversations related to your search will begin popping up almost immediately.
OK. I found the answer to this on myself. So this is to save anyone else from wasting their time trying to figure this out from the manual.

A followup to Simon's answer---Bright Cluster Manager v9.0 is now available to Easy8 users as well.
I'll answer this one myself, too. Turns out there might have been an issue with the San Jose mirror. So the next time I chose the DC mirror and this time everything worked out.
