Enable docker for non-admin users

arash
I am using cluster management software version 8.2.
By default, only the admin account can run docker on the compute nodes. How can I enable regular users to use docker without using Kubernetes.

In order for non-root users to be able to issue docker commands, they need to be added to docker group.

You can add the user to a group by directly editing the /etc/group in the
image of the docker nodes and either reboot the nodes or just push the changes (imageupdate -w) or by using usermod -G docker <username> in the image:

chroot /cm/images/<image-name>
usermod -G docker <username>

Where am I?
