We have a Bright 9.0 cluster with Centos7.7 under Easy8 licensing. I would like to create a virtual machine on the headnode. In BrightView, from Devices -> Add node -> virtual, we have added a virtual machine, but it fails to boot. Is there something wrong we are doing? Anybody has any documentation or video on how to do this? Please help.

Where am I?

In Bright Computing, Inc. you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!

Creating virtual nodes is only possible if you have OpenStack deployed on top of your Bright cluster. Bright does not natively have the capabilities to create VMs.
